WHY?
To educate elementary school students about respecting and conserving valuable water resources.
HOW MANY STUDENTS ATTEND?
Depending on your local Children's Water Festival - 300 to 1,000 students per day.

TIPS!

  • Wear comfortable shoes as you will spend most of the day standing
  • Wear something that you can put a Children's Water Festival T-shirt over (or festival apron). You will get one in the morning when you arrive. It lets students, teachers, and parents know that you are an activity leader.
  • Activities run rain or shine - so please dress accordingly. Chances are, you will be outside most of the day. Please wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting a bit dirty or wet.
  • Read through your training manual. It is short but will give you all the information you need to run your centre.
